Aditya Park is organizing a Kashmiri food festival  `Wazwan’ starting from 23rd Jan2015 to 8th Feb2015, in Hyderabad. Wazwan is a multi-course meal in Kashmiri cuisine the preparation of which is considered an art and a point of pride in Kashmiri culture. In a land that is known as the poetry on earth, where Shikaras glide on landscapes that bloom picturesque, born was a cuisine as exotic as ever. Promenade brings to you, the Kashmiri Food Festival with master chef Venu, who is waiting to share his best food with the diners.

The traditional Kashmiri cooking is known as Wazwan which is rich and aromatic, replete with an unmatched flavor. The Wazwan, a multi course royal cuisine is a meal in the Kashmiri tradition and is treated with great respect. Its preparation is considered an art and Kashmiris regard Wazwan as the pride of their culture and identity. Kashmiri cuisine is quite famous for the gracious use of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, saffron, fennel, asafetida, dry ginger, onion and locally grown chilies.

Master Chef Venu along with his team will be offering traditional preparations like the Roganjosh, Tabak Maaz (Lamb Ribs), Gushtaba, Kanti Kebab as well as vegetarian delicacies such as Chuk Wangan (Sour Fried Brinjal), Waari Muth (Turnip and Black Beans), Dum Oluv (Baby Potatoes) and Nadru Malai Kofta to complete a tempting menu selection. The extensive dinner buffet will also be featuring the classical dessert specialties like Shufta, Modur Polav and Noon Chaiy.

Exemplifying the overwhelming spirits of Kashmir, each guest would be welcomed with hot cinnamon tea with almond base called Kahwa. Traditional Kahwa would be made in brass kettle known as a samovar served in Chacka’s.  Enjoy the sumptuous spread amidst the quintessential Kahmiri atmosphere complete with shikaras and houseboats, pherans, carpets and kangris. Apart from relishing the lip-smacking delicacies, you can buy some some traditional souvenir form gift shop created specially for food festival. The Kashmiri food festival is open for dinner during from 7.30 p.m onwards respectively.
