Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has said that Arunachal Pradesh has every potential to become the tourism hub of India. Addressing the 29th Arunachal Day celebrations in New Delhi, Mr Rathore said development works like construction of roads, institutions and hotels which have already been started in the state will lead to it to become a tourism hub. He also said the state has a lot of sports talent and sportsmen from the state can bring the next Olympic gold medal for the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said, Arunchal Pradesh has come a long way from a Union Territory to the biggest state in the North East region. He said, the development of the state has just begun and the immense potential in it needs to be explored. He urged the youth of the state to contribute in the development process.
